An exciting new consultative role to support organisations with AI implementation. A role which calls on business acumen to advise and direct clients as they explore the use of AI.
Datamine has been in the analytics, data and AI space for over 30 years. We’re in growth mode and looking for a dynamic AI Advisor to join our team of experts. You’ll help design and guide strategic transformation journeys, translating complex concepts into real-world impact while building trust with senior stakeholders and leading clients through change. You’ll help clients unlock the potential of AI by shaping solutions that address real business challenges.

About the role
Datamine helps clients solve business problems using a mix of data, analytics, and AI services. As an AI Advisor, you’ll work closely with clients to support the implementation of AI, and allow clients to maximise value from AI transformation projects. You will uncover where challenges exist, assess their impact, and guide strategic decisions that unlock value through AI. You’ll lead discovery conversations, shape transformation roadmaps, and build trust by translating complex ideas into practical, business-focused solutions.

A week in the life of an AI Advisor might involve:
- Lead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to uncover business challenges and identify where AI can add value
- Translate strategic goals into practical AI use cases and transformation roadmaps
- Advise clients on change management and capability building to support AI adoption
- Stay up to date with AI trends, tools, and governance frameworks, and share insights with internal teams and clients
- Contribute to internal initiatives that refine Datamine’s AI advisory offerings and methodologies
- Support client education by simplifying complex AI concepts and building confidence in decision-making
- Help shape thought leadership content and contribute to workshops or events focused on AI strategy
- Use your commercial acumen and market insight to spot emerging challenges or shifts in the business landscape, then work with customers to explore how we might support
- Proactively engage with clients to strengthen relationships, and uncover new opportunities to support them

You would fit right in at Datamine if you have:
- You have a degree that’s likely commercial in nature, or possibly in business analytics
- You bring at least five years of commercial experience in a consultative role, ideally within a consulting environment (and have AI transformation/Governance expertise
- You’re highly organised, take ownership of your work, and follow through with dedication
- You can manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
- You communicate clearly and confidently, both in writing and in conversation
- You take initiative and are proactive in driving outcomes
- You understand business dynamics and can apply commercial thinking across industries
- You thrive in a collaborative team and care about collective success
- You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office tools to support your work
