This is where you come in. As People Enabler, you will support our people to achieve their goals through self-accountability, continual improvement, principles and processes.
This new role is pivotal in creating a positive and productive work environment, ensuring everyone feels empowered and supported. While you’ll bring People and Culture experience from your previous roles, you’ll also understand the importance of zooming out to see the wider picture so that Datamine can drive strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities of the role are:
- Create development plans for staff to achieve employee, team and Datamine objectives
- Develop frameworks and coach employees to achieve their goals
- Establish measurable goals for continual improvement
- Attract, recruit and grow amazing people
- Promote employee well-being
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns
- Develop HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Share your proven People Leadership experiences to deliver value to Dataminers and the business
Key competencies we are looking for:
- Passionate about people and their ongoing development
- Strong communication with high emotional intelligence and active listening
- An analytical and data-driven approach to the role
- Business acumen and commercial awareness
- Proactive, organised and adaptable

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ideal background/knowledge required for this role:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR/people roles
- Proven ability to lead and inspire people
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Understanding and application of New Zealand employment laws and regulations
- Strong sense of business and commercials
- Have led and implemented change management programs
